Work & Play

Being a full time fashion blogger I'm lucky enough to be able to freely wear anything I like but I know a lot of you will have to wear something a bit more on the corporate side when it comes to work and I'm sure a suit is one of the first that comes to mind.

I always get excited when I see a good suit and try to think of ways to make it less business like and more fashion. Obviously I reached for the loafers as they are a huge trend at the moment and a boyfriend t-shirt to give it a more casual feel. I think trainers would also look cute with this look, what do you think?

Accessories I Want For Autumn

When it comes to accessorising I am pretty simple, I don't like too much fuss and I wear mostly gold although I am adding a few black and silver items to my collections lately. There is one piece that is at the top of my list and has been for a while which is this uhmazing statement necklace by Dylanlex. It's definitely at the higher price ranges for fashion jewellery but it's a serious investment piece and one I will definitely wear forever! Hopefully it will be back in stock soon.

Also I don't think you have ever seen me wear earrings on the blog yet as I don't do dangly ones at all but the new ear jacket and cuff trend is fabulous so I'm jumping right on that and have purchased a few styles, I especially love the double pearl Dior, shame they are sold out EVERYWHERE!

Have a look at some of my favourites for Autumn, do you have any?

A Few Early Autumn Favourites

I'm showing you a few of my early Autumn favourites in today's post, the first being my change of make up.

As the weather changes and my summer tan fades I need to wear a slightly heavier foundation than my Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and the Estee Lauder double wear is one of my favourites. I will also start to wear primer and conceler as my dark circles show a lot more in the Winter. Above are some of my go to products, I have listed the links below.

I have my eye on a few pairs of loafers this season, these and these are at the top of that list but I was doing my usual weekly Zara shop on Friday and saw these beauties! Naturally I couldn't resist, look out for me wearing them on the blog next week!. A few more of my favourites are linked below...

You have seen me rave about the colour Oxblood in the past couple of weeks on the blog, this beautiful leather skirt by Hobbs (see me wearing it here) was kindly gifted and will be the perfect Winter staple. I'm even drawn to the colour when picking flowers! Shop my best picks below..

Grey Matters

I don't know about you but I feel like our summer has come back? We are four days away from it being officially Autumn and the weather has done a complete 360.. it's pretty warm here in the south of England! This is obviously great as we all hate the cold and rain but I'm itching to wear all the items I have been stacking up for the new season.

That said, I really couldn't leave this vest sitting in my wardrobe any longer so I'm mixing seasons a little and wearing it now. I am so in love with it, its the perfect shade of grey. It's part of the Topshop Unique collection and available from their site or Net A Porter where I got mine, I'm wearing a size Small. Its definitely a statement piece I will be wearing a lot through the Winter!

What do you think? Are you mixing seasons at the moment? x

Berry & Blush

Skirt: Hobbs (c/o) | Shirt: J Crew | Sweater: French Connection | Shoes: Aquazzura a similar style here | Clutch: Saint Laurent new season here

If you were to ask me what my rules were when buying a staple piece, anything in leather will be up there at the top of the list and this beautiful skirt by Hobbs is the perfect luxury item you will definitely want in your wardrobe this winter. Soft buttery leather in one of my favourites colours at the moment and super easy to wear as smart or casual.  I really can't say enough about it so I will let the pictures do the talking but if berry is not your colour they have it in Black here.

Thank you all for reading and have a great Monday x
